When I first discovered Lacquer By Lissa (Melissa)'s, it was through a Pittsburgh Polish group on Facebook. I was ecstatic to discover other "locals" with my passion for lacquer! I quickly noticed that she sold a set of polishes that part of the proceeds were donated to The Wounded Warrior Project, a non profit that I fully support.
Her customer service is beyond amazing. She went out of the her way to get me the third polish in her collection so I could order them all! She always quickly responds to any questions and shipping is usually lightning fast.  My packages all came securely wrapped and even had some cute easter grass inside the box! Its the little touches that make a HUGE difference!
Lets get to the most important part, the swatches!

Forget Me Not

I completely forgot to swatch this one (what was I thinking?).  A portion of the sales from this polish will go the Alzheimer's Association to help fund research. This polish is perfect for spring and Easter! There is absolutely NO fishing for glitter and the white daisy glitters are a nice surpass. Its filled with larger blue circle glitters as well as smaller light green glitters all suspended in a clear base. Applies like a dream! You can purchase this one here.

Yinzer:

Any real Pittsburgh-er will know actually what Yinzer is! Its a gorgeous black white and yellow glitter suspended in a clear base. Its full of white rectangle glitters, tiny yellow round and square glitters as well as different size black hex's and slivers. You can see my Pirates opening day mani, it complimented it well! No fishing for glitters at all!

Here We Go

Here we go was hard to photograph on the actual nail. Its a total Pittsburgh Steelers Polish with red, yellow and blue square glitters suspended in a black jelly base. The base is a little sheer so its best to apply a black polish base first (which is what I did for my pinky) and then add a few coats of this polish. If you have more patience (unlike me) you can definitely apply multiple coats without a black base to get more of a 3d affect. Im not huge into jellys or crelly bases but this one is fun and unique!

Military Collection:

Overall, Lacquer by Lissa indie polishes are fantastic! They ALL apply like a dream and shine even without a top coat (all though one is highly suggest to protect and prolong the polishes). She recently started making nail vinyl decals which I'll be reviewing this week as well!

Make sure you check out all of Lissa's polishes on her Etsy page and also find her on Facebook!
